The Occupancy sensor data - Map widget
A live floor plan coloured by what the occupancy sensors see — occupied in red, free in blue — with a floor rail for switching. Which floors and resource types it draws, and the view it opens on.
The floor plan, live: every room and desk with an occupancy sensor is drawn red where the sensor sees somebody and blue where it sees nobody, with a legend in the corner and the building’s floors listed down the side. It is the “where is there space” screen for a lift lobby or an open floor, and it only fits the main stage.

Settings
| Setting | What it does | When to change it |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Which floors it draws: Follow device location, or Choose… with a floor picker | Leave it following the device; choose floors when one screen should carry a whole building |
| Type | Narrows the plan to resource types; empty means Any resource type | The screen is about desks, and rooms would only add noise |
| Default view angle | The framing the map opens on — Default, or a Custom view you frame yourself | The interesting corner of the plan is off-centre, or the whole floor is too much at once |
| Use floor plan default colors | Paints the plan’s own area colours underneath the live status | Turn it off when the plan’s decoration fights the red and blue |
Where the widget covers several floors, the rail along the edge switches between them — one tap on a touch screen.
What this does not control
- What the sensors report. The data is the occupancy sensors’, connected and placed in the Devices section — a desk with no sensor has nothing to say, whatever this widget is set to.
- The plan it draws. The floor plan belongs to the floor itself; this widget only colours it.
- The design’s widget background. The map ignores it, along with the rest of the panel styling — the shared settings are in Widgets and the places they go.
