Where your data is hosted
Which Microsoft Azure data centre holds your account — Hong Kong or Japan today, the United Kingdom on the roadmap — why one account cannot be split across regions, why separate regional accounts share nothing but sign-in and no report or export spans two of them, and why Offision is cloud-only with no on-premises option.
Offision is a cloud service hosted on Microsoft Azure. Every account lives in one Azure data centre, chosen when the account is created, and its data stays in that region.
One account, one region
An account cannot be split across data centres. There is no per-region residency inside one account, and no setting that moves part of it to another region.
Where the law requires two regions to stay apart, the shape is one account per region — and separate accounts do not roll up. Each has its own people, buildings, bookings, reports and exports, and nothing spans two of them: no report, no export, no console. An administrator signed in to one cannot see or search the other. The one thing that does cross regions is finding your company at sign-in — see Regions below.
Branches divide the console, not the data. A branch named Europe does not put European data in Europe; the whole account still sits in the one data centre it was created in. Inside a single account an administrator on the root branch does see and report on the whole estate — see what a branch is, and what it scopes — but that is a question about who may look, not about where the data is kept.

If your organisation needs a region that is not yet available, tell your Offision contact — roadmap regions are prioritised by demand.
Each region has its own addresses. If you are opening a firewall or a proxy for Offision, take them from Every address Offision connects to.
An account lives in one region, and signing in takes you to it. Somebody looking for their company on the wrong region’s address is still found: the entry in Select Offision domain carries that company’s own web address, and choosing it moves the browser there before asking for a password. So there is one link to hand out, whichever region an office is on. See Sign in to Offision.
High availability
The service runs on redundant Azure infrastructure, so the failure of a single server or component does not take your account offline. Backups are kept within the same region as the account.
What Offision does not offer
There is no on-premises or self-hosted deployment. Offision runs only in the Azure data centres above; it cannot be installed on your own servers or in your own cloud subscription.
