The Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale (CNSS) is Morocco's national social security fund, a public institution established in 1959 and managing social protection for millions of salaried workers in industry, commerce, services, and liberal professions.
With a network of regional directorates and agencies across the country, CNSS handles critical services including health insurance (AMO), family allowances, pensions, and occupational risk coverage. As a large-scale public entity under governmental oversight, CNSS places high priority on operational efficiency, data security, inter-agency coordination, and digital transformation aligned with Morocco's national strategies for administrative reform and e-government.
The Challenge
Like many large public administrations, CNSS faced growing pains in its meeting and collaboration spaces:
- Hybrid meetings became the norm post-pandemic, with teams split between headquarters in Casablanca, regional agencies, and remote participants (e.g., ministry representatives or external auditors).
- Traditional conference rooms relied on complex cabling, multiple remote controls, and inconsistent BYOD (bring-your-own-device) experiences, leading to wasted time troubleshooting connections.
- Frequent technical delays (HDMI adapters, screen sharing issues, poor audio) disrupted high-stakes meetings on policy implementation, digital service rollouts (such as the generalization of AMO coverage), and inter-ministerial coordination.
- With over 7 meeting rooms at headquarters and additional spaces in key directorates, standardizing technology while integrating seamlessly with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint) was a priority.
- Security and ease-of-use were non-negotiable: solutions needed to comply with public-sector data protection standards and require minimal training for non-technical staff.
CNSS sought a future-proof room solution that would turn every meeting room into an intuitive, Microsoft Teams-certified space—reducing setup time from minutes to seconds and boosting overall productivity.
The Solution: Offision Room Panel + Microsoft 365 Ecosystem
After evaluating several room systems, CNSS selected Offision Room Panel for more than 7 conference rooms (ranging from small huddle spaces to large boardrooms). Key reasons for the choice:
- Native Microsoft Teams integration — One-touch join for scheduled Teams meetings directly from the panel, with full support for proximity join, content sharing, and whiteboard.
- All-in-one design — 10–15 inch touch panels with built-in compute (no external PC required in most rooms), supporting 4K cameras, intelligent audio, and wireless presentation.
- Zero-touch deployment — Centralized management via Microsoft Intune and Teams Admin Center, allowing IT to push updates, monitor usage, and enforce security policies remotely.
- BYOD flexibility — Miracast, AirPlay, and Offision Cast for cable-free sharing from any laptop or mobile device, while maintaining enterprise-grade encryption.
- Scalability — Started with 7+ rooms at headquarters, with plans to extend to regional agencies.
Implementation was completed in phases over three months, with minimal disruption thanks to Offision’s plug-and-play architecture and on-site training provided to CNSS IT and administrative teams.
