Offision + Neat Ecosystem
Every connection between a Neat estate and Offision, in one plan you can change: what senses, what shows, and which cloud carries the calendar.
A Neat estate reaches Offision over two separate connections, and a third cloud carries the calendar. Change the hardware in any position below and the plan answers.
Sensing goes device → Neat Pulse → Offision. Every Neat device already reports to Neat Pulse; that connection is Neat’s own. Offision reads it by polling Pulse with an API key, which needs a Neat Pulse Pro subscription — without one the devices keep reporting to Neat and Offision reads nothing. The only write Offision ever makes is a reboot.
Screens go the other way. Pulse installs the Offision app onto a Pad, Board or Frame, and the app pairs to Offision directly with a six-character code.
Bookings come from neither. Rooms and calendars are Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, which sync two-way with Offision and never touch Neat. The three meet on one bookable resource inside Offision.
Desks and shared screens are Offision’s alone
No Neat cloud is involved in any of them.
A hot desk is claimed by scanning the printed sticker on it — one static code per desk, which opens the user app and books, checks in, extends or ends depending on what that desk is doing at the time. A sticker is not a network device. It has no power, no network and nothing to pair; the phone that scans it is what reaches Offision, which is why it is the cheapest way to cover a floor. You print them from the console.
The two shared screens are ordinary Neat hardware running an Offision board. A central check-in kiosk stands where people arrive and serves a whole zone — the console builds it from the Desk booking kiosk template — and a service comm panel back of house shows the day’s cleaning, catering and IT requests as one queue; see Set up a service panel. Both pair to Offision the same way a room booking panel does, and both still report their own sensor readings to Neat Pulse like any other Neat device.
What a room can sense depends on what is in it
A Pad and a Pad Pro have no camera, so they report temperature, humidity, CO2 and TVOC and nothing else. Bars, Boards, the Frame and the Center all carry one and count people. A room whose only Neat device is the Pad at its door has air quality and no occupancy, and no setting changes that — the per-model table is the authority when you are choosing hardware.
Occupancy is derived: the room counts as occupied while the people count is above zero. With the privacy shutter closed Neat keeps reporting zero, so Offision records unknown rather than a measured nobody.
