How groups and policies work together

A user group names staff, students or a department. It does not carry a booking window until a policy does. Create the groups in Directory, write the date-range on the policy, then assign the policy to the rooms those people book.

Do Offision user groups change how far someone can book?

Not by themselves. Groups name people. Attach a policy with the date range, then assign it to the rooms.
