Quota Unit

This page is about the setting of quota unit.

Quota unit is a core element of the quota mechanism, and it is essential parts for Resources Quota Policy and User Quota Policy. You can treat quota unit as the currency that is required to be spent when booking some resources.

Quota unit is simple that only has name can be set, but it cannot work alone. You need to assign quota unit to Resources Quota Policy as the basic unit of quota calculation of any resource booking, and assign quota unit to User Quota Policy to provide the quota to the users.

A quota unit can be assigned to multiple resources quota policies and user quota policies, but each of the resources quota policy and user quota policy can only be assigned with one quota unit.

  • Name: The name of the quota unit. It cannot be duplicate with other quota unit.
